The origins of Rosefinch

The Vermilion Bird, a.k.a. Flaming Rosefinch, is a mythological spirit creature and is one of the four symbols of the Chines constellations. It represents the fire element, the direction south, and the summer season correspondingly. The flaming rosefinch in Chinese mythology is often called the "Fenghuang" or phoenix, which symbolizes the union of male and female, and represents the six celestial bodies. It is a sign of virtue, harmony, and prosperity, often seen in decorations for weddings and royal ceremonies.
The motif design on the faceplate resembles the contour of the phoenix feather.

12mm planar magnetic driver

For a full-range frequency response
TRN Rosefinch is equipped with a newly developed 12mm planar magnetic driver. A planar magnetic driver functions differently from a dynamic driver using a flat diaphragm rather than a typical cone or dome-shaped membrane. Planar magnetic drivers often sound tighter, more controlled, and have better extension capabilities with less distortion for bass than dynamic drivers. Planar magnetic earphones are generally better at instrument separation and clarity and give a fast transient response.

A planar magnetic driver functions differently from a dynamic driver using a flat diaphragm rather than a typical cone or dome-shaped membrane. The planar diaphragm also has a conductor trace that allows it to react to the magnetic field produced by magnets on one or both sides of the diaphragm. The conductor trace for planar magnetic headphones is fixed on the diaphragm, while dynamic drivers have a conductor voice coil behind the diaphragm. Both driver types function in a piston motion to produce sound waves. However, the planar advantage of having the conductors directly on the flat surface of the diaphragm allows it to react more evenly within the magnetic field. This allows the TRN Rosefinch to have an extremely wide frequency response from 7Hz to 40kHz. Planar magnetic drivers often sound tighter, more controlled, and have better extension capabilities with less distortion for bass than dynamic drivers. In general, planar magnetic earphones are better at instrument separation and clarity.

Symmetrical double-sided magnet array structure

TRN Rosefinch's planar magnetic driver adopts a symmetrical double-sided N52 magnet array structure and 2μm diaphragm. This new driver achieves higher sound fidelity, giving a natural, relaxed, and balanced sound with outstanding dynamic range and frequency extensions.

Cable

TRN Rosefinch adopts 4-core silver-plated copper wounded and an oxygen-free copper braided cable. Such configuration has the advantages of both silver-plated copper and oxygen-free copper. It effectively gives fullness to the sound. Resolution is greatly enhanced, extracting fine details with unsurpassed clarity.
